On August 15, 2013, the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure of the Judicial Conference of the United States issued a Preliminary Draft of Proposed Amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy and Civil Procedure inviting written comments by February 15, 2014.
The proposed changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure are focused heavily on the rules governing pre-trial and discovery practice in federal court litigation. The proposed changes will affect practitioners and businesses both in anticipation of and preparation for federal court litigation.
