The Supreme Court has docketed the amicus curiae brief I submitted for Veterans of Foreign Wars and Operation Firing for Effect, two veterans’ advocacy organizations, in the case of Howell v. Howell, Case No. 15-1031. See the brief here: vfw-amicus-brief

This likely means the case will be submitted before Judge Gorsuch is confirmed to take the bench.
We will have to wait and see what this means for the outcome of the contentious, but long-unresolved issue in this case.
